Step 1. EDUCATE: We Teach & Discover What You Need to Know
We’re Your Retirement Educator first and foremost. Driven by a passion to improve your retirement literacy while helping you understand the criticality of retirement planning, education is the foundation of everything we do. You don’t need to know everything and you don’t need to become a retirement planner (that’s what we do), but we do believe you should know enough to uncover your retirement blind spots and side-step some of the basic financial traps. We truly believe knowledge is power.
Many clients first take our Retirement Power Hours Masterclass before they ever meet with us to discuss their retirement needs. The class is currently 100% online (via Zoom) and meets over the course of 4 weeks for a total of 6 hours. A myriad of retirement 101 topics, as well as advanced retirement strategies are taught in the class.
Once you decide to engage in our E.P.I.C. process, the learning doesn’t end there. Your advisor takes extra time to make sure you understand each component and strategy of your retirement plan and get all of your questions answered before moving on to the next planning phase.

Step 2. PLAN: We Analyze, Strategize & Design with You
As Your Retirement Planner, our number one goal is to get you the best possible “sustainable” retirement outcome while protecting you from any and all risks. We combine and analyze your retirement variables (income, investments, risks, etc.), proven financial theories, various financial products and sophisticated financial software to design your new or revised retirement plan. The first task in this step is the completion of a Retirement Stress Test (RST). The RST helps determine your retirement portfolio strategy. Based upon a mathematical calculation, the RST will assess the effect different market conditions could have on your retirement. The RST becomes the basis of a balanced strategy that offers a high probability of success across all market environments. In this process, we’re a bit like mad scientists, experimenting with the data and math to come up with just the right retirement success formula. The Multi-Discipline Strategies selected for your plan can have such a powerful impact that they sometimes can extend the life of your portfolio by 10 or more years. Our advsiors are carefully trained as “hybrid” retirement professionals which means they are licensed to implement balanced plans with a proper mix of investments AND insurance solutions.
